Casian has enjoyed success for the past 16 years in numerous markets. Starting in Minneapolis where he was born and raised and studied as a commercial artist, which led to his interest in photography. Casian chose a hands-on approach and assisted with a chosen few photographers, before deciding it was better to blaze a new path, then to follow the one already traveled by others! He then migrated to Phoenix, AZ where he honed his style. After 7 years, he felt the need to spread his wings and open new opportunities, which brought him to beautiful Orange County, CA. Casian’s style is based more on a feel than a look. “Attitude” is a word he uses to describe his work. He draws out the inner beauty in his subjects. He strives to capture the overall personality of his models. Casian’s role in the photo shoot is similar to that of a director in a motion picture, giving input and creating the image. He doesn’t just sit back and click. He poses the model, as he knows what he’s trying to capture as he has the image already created in his mind. Casian feels it’s like a dance between the photographer and the model, both feeding off the energy of the other. Over the past 2 years, Casian has studied Film and wrote produced and directed a short. He’s now filming music videos as well.
